What is an affiliate?In a nutshell, an affiliate is part of a referral based marketing strategy (also called "revenue sharing"), in which Merchants (sellers) pay Affiliates (you) commissions for referring business to the Merchant's website.Merchants do not pay for advertising until a sale occurs.
