An AutoResponder is basically the email version of a fax on
demand, but will automatically store a person's information( like an email address).
An autoresponder sends a series of messages that are stored in the system.
These letters can be set to go out at whatever intervals you
select. Everyday or whenever.
How Does an Autoresponder Work?
When you, or someone, sends an email to your responder,
or you enter a name into the system, 3 things will happen.
Your first message will be sent.
You will receive a notice that someone sent a message to your responder.
The person's name and email address are captured and added to
your web based opt-in list, which is part of the system.
What Happens next?
Once it is set-up all you have to do is add names, and email
addresses, and with 6 or 7 or more letters in your system you will be
able to concentrate on building your list.
Important Point: Just be sure and subscribe
yourself so you can see how your letters will look
when they are sent.
Important Notes
It is also important to have valuable information in these
letters.
If you have an advertising system that you know
produces real results tell your subscribers about it,but
it has to work.
The more useful the information, the better.
Design your letters first, then sort them out in a sequence, ready to insert into the system.
Become A Useful Source Of Information
Remember, the more useful the information, the better.
This is how you cultivate your list, how you build a relationship with
the people on your list.
They will read your email, if you become a
familiar source of useful Free information.
What Not To Do !
If you have a mailing list management system that you like, tell
them about it.
I wouldn't suggest a Free AutoResponder. Nothing is for Free in this business.
Free AutoResponder always have someone else's ads at the top.
This looks very unprofessional and all you are doing is building someone else's mailing list when you should be doing everything in your power to build your own.
If Someone Joins Your Program ?
If someone joins a program under you (any program) you
should add this person to your mailing list management
system, so you can send them helpful
information before you try and sell them a business opportunity.
Build a website and put a subscribe box on it and you can
build your list while you sleep, or, promote programs that
supply contact information when someone joins.
A good Autoresponder should provide you with the ability to run several campaigns, amend your mailing list, and have different opt-in methods.
