Of course once you have written your ebook, you will require a decent ebook cover, so that you can promote your book.

But where do you go?

There are 2 main options:-

1. Have it designed for you by a professional.

2. Buy some software and give it a go yourself.

There are several free Ebook Cover tutorials, however, not many are that good.

You will find that you can't design good ebook covers with them, unless you have a designer's touch. The ebook cover that you created will probably look less than ideal.

The free tutorials do not teach you the best layout for an ebook cover. They also do not teach you the best effects and styles that you can apply to your ebook cover.

Most of the time, they only teach how to make the 3D effect of a book.

Most of them will be a waste of money!!

For the high price tag, you can only basically do ONE thing with it. They work on templates. You can't add your own ebook cover templates.

Ebook cover software is preset with limited layouts and design options. This limits your creativity and results.

So what can you do?

design your own, by using part of the 'Photoshop' suite.

The full 'Photoshop' suite can be expensive, but you can buy parts of it on ebay.
